Responsibilities

Organizes, operates and supervises Supply Chain activities and related functions and systems in an efficient and effective manner.

Leads and organizes activities of the department Storeroom, Warehouse and Equipment Room. Selects, develops, supervises and evaluates department staff.

Maintains department records, reports (financial, personnel) and works closely with Finance. Assist with the maintenance of adequate levels of supplies to meet patient care demands on a seasonal basis.

Establish and maintain quality control standards within Supply Chain. Requires strong computer skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and Vendors.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

High School Graduate / GED

Vocational / Technical School / Diploma

Associate Degree : Bachelor’s Degree

Master’s Degree :

Other : Minimum of three (3) years hospital supply experience (or other related roles).

Specific Core / Buyer experience preferred.

Prior experience directly managing employees highly preferred.
