Business Systems Analyst

Overview :

SOLTECH is hiring a Business Systems Analyst for an industry leader in custom design, manufacturing, and specialty retail.

You will be the sole BSA to lead the charge on requirements gathering and technical support for innovative product design!

This is a hybrid role in Bessemer, AL.

Responsibilities :

The Business Systems Analyst will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work under the general supervision of the Business Systems Manager but must possess a self-starter mentality.

This role focuses on the development, administration, maintenance, and support of software applications and custom integrations.

• Administer and support ERP, HRIS, and other in-house developed business systems, including Movex.
• Provide internal end-user support for various systems.
• Develop, administer, and maintain custom integrations and ensure the accuracy of interface or conversion scripts.
• Create a high volume of detailed reports using SQL.
• Design advanced SQL queries, scripts, cursors, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Identify and optimize SQL code for improved performance and accuracy.
• Analyze, define, and document system requirements.
• Translate non-technical requirements from end users into technical specifications for integration development.

Qualifications :

• Superior experience with SQL, including developing reports from scratch, modifying existing reports, and creating unique records using SQL queries.
• Experience using MRP tools (Microsoft Nav 13) and Dynamics
• Proven self-starting mentality with the ability to remain highly engaged with remote teams throughout the day.
• Strong experience with SSRS, SSIS, and Power BI.
• Experience working with legacy systems and custom integrations.
