Informationernance Manager - Product Owner Description

CME Group is seeking an experienced Informationernance ("IG") Manager, positioned within the organization as an Agile Product Owner ("PO") serving as a single point of contact and advocate for stakeholders as part of the Data & Analytics Portfolio at CME Group.

The Data & Analytics Portfolio represents a collection of teams working on products aligned with a business area or capability.

The portfolio structure supports the teams to achievepany goals by optimizing strategy, intake, budgeting, product delivery and measurement.

The Data and Analytics portfolio brings together our Data Services, Applied Analytics and Data Platform capabilities in order to drive even greater value andmercial opportunity from our data assets.

Core responsibilities for the IG Manager will include driving the prioritization of informationernance and privacy requirements throughout the product lifecycle and advocating for the deployment of these solutions within the Data & Analytics Portfolio.

The PO will run an Agile team to ensure clarity on both the "what" and the "why" of all requirements, providing direction on relative priority.

The PO should define and maintain the team's backlog in close collaboration with the other team members such as the Product Manager, Solution Architect and Delivery team members.

The PO is responsible for defining and prioritizing user stories and enablers, to achieve the goals in scope for each sprint.

The PO also serves as a key advisor on informationernance and privacy requirements, working closely with other POs representing key areas to ensure alignment on direction, priorities and key dependencies.

This role also articulates the "definition of done" and drives required documentation. The role will partner with various shared services teams including Data, Technology, Legal,pliance, and Internal Audit.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with experience designing and implementing Informationernance, records management, and privacy managementpliance programs.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strongmunication skills, amand of the subject matter, business partnership mentality, an ability to read the room, a passion for customer success, and strong creative problem solving abilities.

A familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

Principal Accountabilities :

• Demonstrate leadership and ownership of the product, and inspiring others to share and contribute to the product vision and goals
• Act as advocate for informationernance policies and functional standards
• Work closely with Informationernance to stay current with changes to theerning program taking into account any technical modifications, where required
• Work with the Informationernance leadership team and the Product Manager to prioritize features and enhancements to improve retention, eDiscovery, privacy, confidentiality, access controls, and overall dataernance capabilities
• Advocate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on informationernance key initiatives and the enterprise Informationernance Program
• Oversee the implementation of informationernance & dataernance tools and technologies within the ecosystems, advising on the configuration, testing, and deployment activities
• Participate in sprint and system demos, provide feedback in PI Retrospectives to reflect on progress, improvement, opportunities, and oues
• Scope, refine and prioritize requests along with the Product Manager
• Continuously monitor the product's performance, gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders using data driven insights to make informed decisions and prioritize future improvements
• Maintain a deep understanding of thepetitive landscape, emerging trends, and new technologies that may impact the product's success
• Coordinate dependency resolution with other Product Owners and other stakeholders
• Support Domain / Solution architects to define and discharge non-functional requirements
• Support Product Manager to assess costs and potential trade-offs associated with product-specific demand
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to define an overarching strategy, vision and long term roadmap
• Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders on matters related to product
• Provide reasonable assurances and that the design of the productplies with all relevant regulations and standards
• Ensure internal awareness of new features and customer adoption.

• Strong business analysis skills including the ability to articulate customer requirements in a clear and concise manner

• Strong understanding of and ability to articulate technical / non-functional product requirements
• Agile experience, preferably with certification in SCRUM and / or SAFe preferred
• Experience with JIRA, GCP, and Google Workspace Confluence preferred

Experience :

• Informationernance and Privacy Experience
• Working knowledge of Agile, Lean and / or Iterative Development Methodologies

Education :

Bachelor's Degree required with strong academic performance; BA / IT

Certifications : ( One or more of the following preferred)

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
• Informationernance Professional (IGP)
• Certified Records Manager (CRM) OR Certified Records Analyst (CRA)
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
• Informationernance Professional (IGP)
• Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS)
