Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in Cedar Rapids, IA .
This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-32 / hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an Electrician eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope :
Install and repair electrical wiring systems and fixtures in telecom equipment shelters
Working with low voltage data, alarming control, 12v to 48v DC systems, rectifier and battery systems
Troubleshooting and servicing issues with electrical panels and systems
Installing conduits and pipes to shelter electrical wires and cables
Ensure all piping and raceways comply with electrical codes
Install equipment grounding systems
Test electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
Replace conduit and wiring as needed
Replace circuit breakers
Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment
Other tasks assigned
Requirements
Must be able to discern color coded wiring
Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending and climbing ladders or scaffolding
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
