Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and managing site development projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and adhere to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Design and Management :

• Design and develop site engineering plans, including grading, drainage, utility layout, and erosion control.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met.

Technical Expertise :

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD) for project design and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.

Collaboration and Communication :

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, landscape architects, and environmental consultants.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications :

Education and Licensure :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Experience :

• 5+ years of experience in civil / site engineering, preferably within a consulting firm.
• Proven experience in site development, stormwater management, and utility design.

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
