Position Overview :
We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer (PE) to join our Nashville office. This role involves leading or assisting in civil site design, client communication, stormwater management, and project permitting for various residential and commercial projects.
The Civil Engineer will work closely with in-house teams, including civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors, to support clients in developing public and private mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze survey data and reports to inform project design.
- Manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed project designs.
- Collaborate with state, local, and federal agencies for permitting processes.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support successful project completion.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- 4-6+ years of professional experience in civil site design.
- Tennessee PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months through reciprocity.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with site design, entitlements, and permitting processes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with local permitting processes and procedures.
- Experience in turnkey site design for residential, multi-family, or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of green infrastructure and Low Impact Development (LID) practices.
