Key job responsibilities
- 1) Perform month-end close activities, which includes performing manual journal entries, reviewing financials and analyzing monthly fluctuations and variances;
- 2) Prepare account reconciliations during and post close; 3) Monitor automated transactions and work closely with controllership and tech teams to detect any anomalies;
- 4) Understand GRC process and controls and prepare external audit request; 5) Understand and apply relevant accounting guidance;
- 6) Support project launch, including automations ; review journal entries files and UAT test results; 7) Enhance current process, establish and maintain relevant SOPs;
- implement detective measurement to ensure proper controls are in place for any new process / project initiated; 8) Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of Fortune 500 operational accounting experience
- Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
- Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions
