This candidate is responsible for quality services in a timely manner. The specialist must possess a great working attitude and while exercising accountability and professionalism in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain assigned accounts.
- Collect all the necessary information to prepare authorization requests.
- Research, correct, and re-submit rejected and denied authorizations. Prepare appeals to denied authorizations.
- Answer questions from patients, staff and insurance companies.
- Make outbound calls to insurance companies as well as patients in a professional manner, while keeping and improving customer relations.
- Scheduling patients upon obtaining authorization in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional Healthcare Revenue Cycle training preferred.
Work Experience : Three to five years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle, Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health experience preferred.
