We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Sr. Operations Reporting Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards that support operational decision-making.

This role involves gathering and analyzing data from various sources, creating insightful reports, and ensuring data accuracy to drive business improvements and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with business leaders to translate business problems into actionable technical solutions by building reports across multiple Business Intelligence (BI) platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with department operational leaders to assess and report departmental performance and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Efficiently and quickly design, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Business Objects / Web Intelligence.
  • Lead the company’s transition into a new reporting environment, leveraging Microsoft PowerBI to build actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and relevant to the needs of stakeholders.
  • Create visual representations of data such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to make complex information more understandable.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Effectively document requirements from business users into technical specifications and own the development and testing process from start to finish.
  • Partner with technical data architects to create re-usable data sets and improve overall data ecosystem quality.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports by validating and cleansing data as needed.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to interpret and use reports effectively.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS in business administration, engineering, finance, computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • Ability to simplify and articulate complex technical solutions to business counterparts.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience developing reports across multiple Business Intelligence (BI) Tools including but not limited to Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and Tableau.
  • Deep knowledge and experience writing SQL queries and understanding relational database structures.
  • Experience working in an agile environment is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
