Overview
Selling Diagnostics product to end users by engaging indirect sales channels via product and sales training
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform business evaluation / coaching rides (DBDCs) with Franchisees as directed by RDM using current DBDC format
Document all business evaluation / coaching rides (DBDCs)
Coordinate and Perform one seminar per week to customers
Teach product and sales skills to Franchisees
Secure orders for additional Diagnostics products
Demonstrate products to customers
Perform product training to customers
Attend FPT meetings to present promotions
Staff and support trade-shows, and attend sales meetings as required
Perform customer education / sales seminars
Keep current with automotive and computer technology through reading or attending applicable courses or seminars
Maintain assigned inventory levels
Maintain and roll up weekly forecast and sales plan update in DSD.snapon.com
Manage calendar in Outlook and maintain all metrics as per current DSD.snapon.com.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Years of Experience :
3-5 years of experience with automotive industry in some capacity (personal, professional)
Other Requirements :
Understanding and operation of electronic equipment
Excellent PC skills and Internet experience
Communications and presentations
Solid understanding of automotive repair business as it relates to ROI and marketing of repair services
Territory management
Negotiating
Ability to travel 30-80% of the time (depending on region of country)
