Summary :
Performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Clinical Laboratories. Routine laboratory testing will be in the Microbiology and Molecular Virology laboratory and may include cross-training in another laboratory section.
Routine job functions include specimen acceptance, accessioning, processing, performance of testing and quality control procedures, the use of various laboratory testing systems and information systems for result generation, reporting, and documentation.
Salary range for this position is $64,772 - $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also offers an assignment differential of $4.
00 hourly and a geographic differential of $4.60 hourly for a total compensation range of $82,709 - $92,072 annually.
Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience
1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
