The Human Resources Generalist will be a key player in enhancing the employee experience. We are seeking a trustworthy and professional resource who exemplifies Reell’s values to manage and support various HR functions within the company.
Reporting to the Vice President of Global Coworker Services (HR), the primary areas of responsibility will include Onboarding, Benefits Administration, HRIS and Personnel Record Management, Learning Management System (LMS) Administration, Employee Recognition, Recruiting, Metrics Reporting, Event Coordination and other administrative duties.
Seeking local candidate to work from our Vadnais Heights, MN headquarters. Position allows for remote work up to two days per week.
Key Responsibilities :
Onboarding : Work with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure preparedness for new hire’s first day, provide new hire and benefits orientation to new hire and ensure hiring documents are completed.
Responsible for all new hire reporting within the State of Minnesota, I-9s / E-Verify, and required Cobra notifications.
Benefits Administration : Administer benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life / AD&D, HSA, FSA, 401(k), disability / leave of absences, FMLA, and worker’s compensation.
Educate coworkers, manage enrollments, reconcile billing, manage annual renewal administration, open enrollment, audit of records, online portal management, non-discrimination testing requirements, ACA reporting, Coworker communication and training.
HRIS and Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator : Ensures HRIS system is efficiently used and has accurate data including reports.
Administers Learning Management System (LMS) and works with Coworker Services and Advisor’s to manage training and ensure training is completed.
- Recognition Programs : Owns the design and administration of the recognition program and ensures that it effectively recognizes and appreciates our Coworkers, including service awards, birthdays and other recognitions.
- Personnel Record Management : Manages Reell’s organizational charts and Coworker files to ensure records are up to date and organized.
- Job Description Management : Manages Reell’s electronic job descriptions, making sure they are replaced when needed, new ones added, and old job descriptions are archived.
- Performance Management : Work with HR team and Advisors to address performance concerns through a variety of applications, including coaching, performance resolutions, and / or warnings.
- Recruiting and Staffing : Responsible for recruiting on an as needed basis. Responsibilities may include recruiting strategy, selection method, interviewing process, compensation recommendation, and reference checking, making the offer to candidates, facilitating background checks and drug screen administration.
- Metrics / Reporting : Responsible to help maintain some department metrics and tracking with detail on a regular basis.
Some of these include but are not limited to, Full Time Equivalent data, annual Coworker survey, Quality of Hire Survey and New Hire 30-day survey results.
Safety Program, Workers Compensation & Safety Committee Representative : Responsible for building a safe work environment with Advisors, HR team and safety committee to include reporting workplace injuries according to OSHA and our WC insurance.
Handles coordinating WC claims and administers FMLA or other leave considerations. Safety Committee : HR representative and advocate for Coworker safety guidelines, training and best practices.
Administrative Support : Administrative support as needed. May include special events and community service project planning and coordination.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other related degree or experience
- 0-4 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or other related position
Preferred Qualifications :
- At least 2 of years of experience as HR Generalist
- Experience administering benefits, wellness, and / or safety programs
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS
- Experience with Sharepoint
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- PHR or SHRM certification
