Overview
The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining the business strategy of the Global Environmental, Health and Safety programs.
The EH&S Manager will assist the Corporate EHS team in identifying impacts of business changes to EHS, identification of successful business tools and applications, tracking and measuring success to promote value added services to the organization.
The primary job rotations of an EH&S Manager may include :
- Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
- Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices.
- Assist site management in executing Environmental, Health & Safety priorities, metrics, goals and requirements.
Establish and enhance site EHS programs that support global EHS initiatives & expectations.
- Provide EHS technical guidance and support to site management to ensure compliance with EHS regulatory requirements.
- Keep management apprised of EHS progress and significant developments on key site projects.
- Evaluate facility EHS conditions, assess risks and develop appropriate corrective-action plans and budgets to address deficiencies in comparison to regulations and internal policy / protocol.
- Manage all EHS aspects (technical, regulatory / third party interface, reporting, permitting, compliance, financial, administrative, of site EHS projects and manage site EHS permits in compliance with relevant regulatory programs and corporate policies.
- Lead investigations in responding to significant incidents and government requests / notices.
- Drive communication and involvement to develop continuous improvement plans for EHS performance and programs.
- Analyze and communicate site EHS performance against expectations, provide feedback, establish and track required actions to improve performance.
- Provide leadership & support for training programs to build EHS technical, management and leadership skills of site leadership team and employees.
- Performs all job duties in a safe manner and obeys all safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and cross training as assigned.
- Travel as necessary in support of operations.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree and / or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A minimum of 5 years Environment, Health, and Safety experience in manufacturing preferred.
EH&S Managers are required to interact with other managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position :

- Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

The standard compensation for this role is $104,600 - $151,100. Salary offers will be determined based on final candidate qualifications, experience, skillset, and other relevant factors.
Compensation Statement
The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States.
The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
