Seeking experienced, energetic, upbeat, collaborative person to join our patient services team at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants - a leading provider of gastroenterology medical services in the area.

JOB OVERVIEW :

• Registering and schedule patients seeking an appointment via phone or electronic correspondence
• Enter and verify demographic information
• Obtain appropriate records for appointment
• Schedule follow up appointments
• Cancel and reschedule appointments
• Work tasks in a timely manner with appropriate documentation
• Utilize Excel spreadsheet in daily work.
• Retrieve voicemail messages from Scheduling voicemail box

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of office processes and procedures acquired through three to five years of office experience or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and adapt.
• Ability to maintain strong relationships with physicians and co-workers.
• Position requires a flexible work schedule.
• Strong organization and communication skills
