Position OverviewBecome part of the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering as a Contracts & Grants Support Analyst, where you will support the pre-award research administration functions within the Dean's Office.

This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic academic environment, assisting senior analysts and faculty with the preparation and submission of research proposals.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of proposals, providing administrative support for data entry, document collection, and deadline tracking.

What You Will Do?

Proposal Support : Assist senior analysts and principal investigators (PIs) in the preparation of research proposals by collecting, formatting, and organizing documents required for submission to sponsors like NSF and NIH.

Data Management : Enter data into submission portals and ensure accurate and timely submission of all required proposal elements under the guidance of experienced team members.

Compliance : Support the research team by assisting in verifying compliance with federal, state, university, and sponsor-specific guidelines.

Communication Support : Draft clear, concise written communications to PIs and other stakeholders under supervision, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Customer Service : Provide high-quality customer service by addressing questions from faculty and staff or routing inquiries to appropriate resources.

Position Details

The full salary range for the Contracts & Grants Support Analyst is $27.29 - $39.90 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
