Responsibilities :

The Job At-A- Glance :

We are seeking an Operational Systems and Support Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Operational Systems and Support and working closely with site staff, this role will be responsible for optimizing property management software, supporting financial and HR processes, and providing IT assistance as needed.

Responsibilities include managing software administration, reporting, HR tasks, and IT support while ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency.

  • Assist in daily administration of property management software. This will include but not limited to addressing service requests, working with the third-party software company to resolve open issues, and communicating effectively with the site staff
  • Assist in building financial reports, budgets, and other financial analysis as needed
  • Information Technology support to include oversite of ordering, setup of new employees and day-to-day support
  • Assistance with integration of new acquisitions to include software, HR, IT, Financial Planning, and any additional duties as needed
  • Perform audits, rollout of new systems, and other projects as needed.
  • General administrative support of the corporate office
  • Assist Operations, Asset Management, Financial Planning, Accounting, and other departments as needed with projects or day-to day tasks
  • Train and support site staff to ensure property management software is accurate, up to date at all times, and being utilized to its fullest functionality and provide ongoing support to site staff
  • Collaborate with manager and team to address needs, share ideas, and troubleshoot problems together, promoting a collaborative working relationship.

  • A Bachelor degree; or 3-5 years experience in the student / multi-family housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience where a high attention to detail and quality in job tasks is expected.
  • The ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team successfully.
  • Be a critical thinker and problem solver.

Relevant Systems and Platforms

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and Property Management software (Entrata).

We conduct criminal background and drug screening.
