We are currently seeking a Mainframe Technical Lead to join our team in Atlanta , Georgia (US-GA) , United States (US) .

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Development Responsible for planning & prioritizations of various tasks per business needs
• Active participation in Daily Status meetings & Management meetings for Decision making.
• Liaise with Product owners Architects and application teams including offshore teams on the mainframe-based project’s needs.
• Responsible for Daily Stand-up calls to monitor progress, mentor and resolve conflict resolution.
• Responsible for time tracking of team and taking care of capacity planning.
• Responsible for reporting capacity defect along with raising risk due to absence appropriately.
• Provide guidance on process improvements for improving quality and productivity of deliverables.
• Responsible for documenting the work packets and change requests to track assignments and following up with the client management to get official signoff on the work packets.
• Responsible for root cause analysis for mainframe projects
• Provide cadence on process improvements for improved productivity & improving quality of delivery
• Responsible for tracking the defects & scheduling meetings with QA manager & associated teams to ensure timely fix for defects
• Finalizing the scope of the project & getting all the required documents baselined
• Responsible for documenting the work packets & change requests to track assignments & following up with the client management to get official signoff on the work packets
• Ability to deal with fast paced projects providing immediate resolution to problems
• Good communication skills
• Qualification BE, B Tech, Computer Science / IT / Electronics

Basic Qualifications :

• 10+ years of Experience in Cobol
• 2-3 years of experience in Unix
• 5+ years of experience in SQL / Queries
• 8+ years of experience in Design / Documentation
• 3+ years of experience handling Agile projects
