Responsibilities
Admissions Coordinator
Copper Hills Youth Center, located in West Jordan, UT is a private residential treatment center for adolescents - years of age.
We counsel, teach and mentor children placed in our care and give each child a chance to make successful changes. At Copper Hills Youth Center, we treat boys and girls who have emotional, behavioral and psychiatric disorders.
Our accredited private school allows students to continue their education while receiving treatment.
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced full time Admissions Coordinator who will focus on :
- Coordination of all admissions and referrals to completion of cases including, but not limited to, ensuring all documentation is provided to appropriate departments and being present for after-hour admissions.
- Responds to all referral inquiries according to timely standards and enters the inquiry information into various tracking systems.
- Responsible for providing all required documentation to the appropriate parties for the pre-authorization process.
- Ensure that the funding is in place prior to setting travel for an admission.
- Completing pre-screen assessments to determine the appropriate level of care according to the psychiatrist recommendation and determining if the facility can provide it in coordination with both the medical reviewer and clinical reviewer’s assessments for placement.
This position will work at the main campus in West Jordan, Utah.

Qualifications
Education / Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred
- 3 years relevant experience
- Must be able communicate with all external and internal customers in a professional and courteous manner via written, telephone, email and other methods.
- Must be proficient is use of computers.
- Ability to calculate amounts such as discounts and percentages.
- Must be at least years of age
