Akkodis currently has a Help Desk Analyst position with a client located in Downers Grove, Illinois. This is an onsite position, so the person needs to live within 30 miles of Downers Grove, Illinois.

No C2C or agencies allowed with this position.

Pay / Salary Range : $65000-70000.

Responsibilities :

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in help desk support, infrastructure management, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral installations.
  • This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing top-notch support to our internal users.
  • User Support and Issue Resolution via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Incident Management.
  • Hardware and Software Support.
  • User Account Management and Access Control.
  • Asset Management.
  • Act as project lead for telecommunication, audio / visual (AV), handheld terminal and printer deployment projects.
  • Research, recommend, implement, and maintain audio / visual (AV) solutions.
  • All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others and creating a positive user experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology field.
  • Professional certification such as CompTIA A+, M365 Endpoint Administrator Associate, or equivalent
  • ITIL, A+, Help Desk Analyst or Field Service Technician Certification.
  • 5 years of experience installing and maintaining Windows based Servers and various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, laptops, and printers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to solve problems.
  • Must have manufacturing or production experience.
