Job description :
Seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintainrealtime embedded software applications. Typical applications aresoftware products related to image processing target detection andtracking missile guidance / navigation / control algorithms missilelaunchers system control builtin test and system communication.
Development will be in C hosted on a Linuxbased environment orVxWorks or Integrity as the realtime operating system. Familiaritywith standard communication busses and protocols including RS232RS422 MILSTD1553 and Ethernet is helpful but not required.
Thecandidate will have experience throughout the entire softwaredevelopment lifecycle including architecture design codeimplementation and integration and test.
The candidate will beexperienced in technical task leadership and / or be a subject matterexpert in an area relevant to Lockheed Martin products described inthe above paragraph.
The candidate will have a strong background inrealtime embedded software development along with demonstratedtechnical leadership.
The candidate will be familiar with usingsource code control and issue tracking tools along with usingmodern test tools to do unit test and static analysis.
An idealcandidate will be able to configure and manage a continuous testenvironment. Bonus skills would be familiarity with Agiledevelopment Cyber Security Department of Defense products boardsupport package and device driver development.
