Job Description
A leading Residential Construction company in the area is seeking a Carpenter / Foreman to join their team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials to construct frameworks, floors, roofs, and walls.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, and other finishing elements in residential structures.
- Perform repairs or alterations to existing structures, including removing structures and rebuilding new ones.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine specific requirements.
Skills
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, framing, and building materials.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
