Pay : Will depend upon skillset / experience but client is targeting $30-40 / hour

Here is what you will be responsible for as their Lead Machinery Installation Engineer :
- Oversee the Installation of equipment to engineering drawing standards
- Liaison to customer while machine is in the installation process and startup phase
- Coordinate and manage contractors during equipment installation
- Resolve issues and implement corrective actions with assistance from project Managers, Engineers, and equipment suppliers
- Instructing machine operators and maintenance people on the proper maintenance and corrective actions
- Coordinate Mechanical Quality Assurance checkouts at the customer site
- Familiar with the optical alignment of equipment using Theodolite, Optical levels, etc.
- Provide customer technical assistance in troubleshooting and servicing of equipment.
- Update drawing per "as built" and return to the lead engineers
- Perform alignment of motor couplings, drive sheaves, and other mechanical drive arrangements
- Submit service reports
- Provide feedback to the manuals department on how to set up equipment
We're looking for a Lead Machinery Installation Engineer with the following background profile :
- Associate's degree or certification in Electronics, Engineering Technology or Electro-Mechanical from an accredited technical / vocational school preferred
- At least 2-4 years of prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Exceptional electrical / mechanical knowledge and strong aptitude to troubleshoot / diagnose / resolve problems
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows platforms, a working knowledge of Excel and Word software and networking capabilities
- Advanced training / practical, hands on experience with electrical applications and drive systems
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics schematics
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and to foreign countries. Time spent at customers plants may approach 60% of work requirements
- Must have, or have the ability to possess a valid passport
