Our dealership is looking for a talented individual for our AP / AR (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable) desk. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys a challenge, staying busy and likes achieving tangible results from their efforts.
We operate two franchises in the Renton area and are continually growing in volume and need someone who wants to grow along with us.
You will manage paying our dealership's bills by issuing payments from invoices or statements. As well as collecting on our charge accounts for Parts and Service to keep balances under 30 days.
Your day-to-day tasks will include (but are not limited to) receipting in customer payments, posting invoices / purchase orders to the GL, reconciling vendor statements, answering incoming phone calls, and maintaining an organized and orderly work environment.
You will also be responsible for balancing daily deposits (cash / credit card) to our GL. Your monthly tasks will include generating Accounts Receivable statements, producing end of month reports and reconciling all payables accounts.
This position requires a strong attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
Required Experience / Skills :
Collections experience / outbound phone call experience is a MUST for a candidate to be successful.
AP / AR experience not needed with a strong accounting background.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors.
Recognizing the habits / behaviors of vendors and how we pay them.
Understanding of debits and credits
Expedient, yet accurate data entry
Keen sense of organization and attention to detail

Pay Rate - $22 - $26 per hour, DOE.
