The Role :
We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to help oversee company operations here in the United States. As the BOM at Girraphic, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the operational, financial, employee management and legal well being of the Company.
This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in business, finance, and operations. In this role, you would be expected to drive operational excellence, optimise and oversee financial reporting, manage employee performance and contribute to strategic planning & business development.
This role is full time, based onsite in our Denver office, supporting a global portfolio requiring flexibility with non-traditional hours.
The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
What you will do :
- Operations Management : Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the US office, including tax planning & financial responsibility, HR, inventory, logistics and business compliance.
- Strategic Leadership : Collaborate with the CEOs / Managing Directors to develop and implement business and operational strategies that align with Girraphic’s long term goals and growth strategies.
- Financial Oversight : Utilize your financial knowledge to oversee cash flow, budgeting, transfer pricing, forecasting, invoicing, and financial planning.
Ensure operational activities are financially viable and aligned with company objectives. This includes managing accounting and bookkeepers, overseeing business taxes at year end, employee / contractor, W2, W4, W9 and 1099 forms, project invoicing, overseeing Xero for company expense reconciliation and monitoring bills and receipts for US Tax code compliance.
Compliance : Assuring that the company is compliant with state and federal laws. This includes but is not limited to payroll, employment, taxes, business insurance, depreciating assets, and overseeing employee benefit plans.
Review contracts / MSA / SOW / T&Cs for projects with company attorneys. Provide and maintain COIs.
Team Management & Leadership : Lead and mentor a diverse team including both in-office and remote employees on a global scale.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across all departments.
HR : Recruit, train, review, onboard and off-board employees. Oversee PTO requests. Establish and monitor KPIs for the business and employees.
Accurately running payroll on time.
- Risk Management : Work closely with multiple external legal teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- C-Suite Communication : Serve as a key point of contact for C-level executives across the global company. Communicate effectively to ensure transparency and alignment on operational matters.
- Logistics : Assist with shipping logistics, including scheduling, documentation / manifest / serial number. Coordinating the delivery of equipment from other Girraphic offices.
- Project Management : Oversee all project management to ensure the timely delivery of projects and appropriate use of all resources
Who you are :
- Bachelors / Masters Degree in Business Administration / Management or a Finance related field.
- Background in Broadcast, Film or design related fields is a plus.
- Strong business background. Understanding business finances.
- Extensive knowledge of Human Resources and background in employee management.
- Proficient in Xero, understanding Invoicing, Quoting, Bills, Reconciliation, and Fixed Asset Registers
- Proficient in Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- Proficient in InDesign for company deck & quote building
- Ability to create a financial forecast, measure against it and report on macro company and micro project performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability to be across multiple project types while connecting departments
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to keep projects, people and communication streamlined
