Embedded Firmware Design Verification Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design verification efforts for embedded firmware,from defining design verification strategies to executing test plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, includingarchitects, embedded firmware developers and hardware engineers, to understanddesign requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Develop and maintain verification test plan, test cases andtest scripts for embedded firmware projects.
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks to streamlinethe design verification process and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of test results, identify anddocument defects and work closely with development teams to address issues.
  • Mentor and guide a team of verification engineers andtechnicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies andbest practices in embedded systems design and verification.
  • Proficient in Agile, specifically applying SAFe to safetycritical TDD.
  • Create scripts and / or templates to automate and / or bootstrapinfrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
  • Work closely with our Agile development teams to create anautomated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

MUST HAVE :

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or anotherrelated area.
  • 5 years of experience in embedded firmware design andverification with a focus on real-time embedded systems and safety criticalapplications.
  • Strong embedded firmware design skills, including C, C++,etc.
  • Experience with industry-standard tools and methodologiesfor verification and validation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, communicate effectivelyand drive projects to successful completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attentionto detail.
  • Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding,engineering practices.
  • Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication with leadershipand peers.

  • Experience leading projects and multi-site cross-functionalteams to achieve milestones and complete deliverables.
  • Previous experience working with all levels of management aswell as a global work force.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Office tools (Excel,PowerPoint, Word, etc) and ability effectively use SharePoint,
  • OneNote andMicrosoft Teams.
