POSITION : Adjunct Faculty - Undergraduate Nursing
QUALIFICATIONS : Education : Unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Virginia; MS in Nursing preferred, or BSN with MS in progress.
Experience : At least 2 years of experience in acute care nursing for the Adult Health Practicum or 2 years’ experience in psychiatric / mental health nursing.
Work experience in related professional field (if applicable).
RESPONSIBILITIES : To serve as an adjunct faculty member for the undergraduate nursing program, teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester.
Including some or all of the following :
In-person teaching / clinical setting
Undergraduate
NURS 304 A - Fundamentals Practicum; NURS 320 / 420 A - Adult Health Practicum I / II; NURS 323 A - Psychosocial Nursing
POSITION DETAILS : Faculty are contracted per course. Salary determined by education.
APPOINTMENT DATE : Fall 2024 term, August - December. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
