Who you are :
As the Lead Mammography / X-Ray Tech for Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are ready to take your experience as a Mammography Tech to the next level.
You enjoy the idea of training, coaching, and developing the team to perform at the highest level.
What you’ll do :
- Work closely with the Center Manager to clarify scheduling protocols, patient preps, and physician orders
- Responsible for the day-to-day activities in Mammography / X-Ray to include, but not limited to the following : Planning additional days of service if neededProviding extra time for down unitsAdjusting schedules as neededMaintain accurate records associated with QA procedures, equipment maintenance, and other areas as neededParticipate in the interview and hiring process
- Perform Mammography / X-Ray exams
- Embracing a patient-centered approach, you'll deliver Mammography services with professionalism and exceptional customer care
What you’ll bring :
- 3+ years’ experience performing Mammography / X-Ray
- Advanced knowledge of Quality Assurance
- ARRT certification in RT (R) certification is required
- Active Virginia RT license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong customer service skills.
