The Department of Pharmacy, consistent with the mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine, places a priority on teaching, research and patient care.
At Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Weinberg Pharmacy is responsible for providing adult oncology acute and ambulatory care services.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of clinical and operational services and staff serving the three ambulatory oncology infusion centers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : human resources management, clinical and operational policies and procedures, federal and state regulatory compliance, formulary and medication stewardship program enforcement, pharmacy staff, pharmacy student, and pharmacy resident education, collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues, medication safety event review, enhancement of informatics systems, inventory management, and departmental and hospital committee engagement.
The Operations Manager will work with the departmental administrative team to assist in the oversight of the overall department’s clinical pharmacy services and medication distribution processes.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in Pharm D. or BS degree.
- Minimum of one year of hospital experience with responsibility for the supervision of pharmacy personnel is desired.
- Completion of an ASHP accredited residency program or equivalent experience is desired.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland required.
