Janel is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to help serve our vendors and partners through our fast-growing Accounts Payable Department.

This position is based in our Houston, TX office location.
Responsibilities to include but are not limited to :
- Handle A / P transactions and payments for domestic vendors and international agents reconciling statements while ensuring proper approvals, verification of charges and ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.
- Help automate processes and streamline procedures; eliminating repetitive or manual steps.
- Tracking and posting invoices.
- Researching and resolving discrepancies, questions, and concerns from vendors, agents, and partners while keeping confidentiality where applicable.
- Capably and confidently identify, prioritize and resolve service challenges, while managing a full workload in a fast-paced environment.
Position Requirements :
- 1+ years' of accounts payable experience.
- 1+ years' of excel knowledge, including pivot tables, V-lookup, etc.
- Freight and logistics industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn and master our Accounting and Operations ERP system (CargoWise).
- Experience with bookkeeping, QuickBooks software, or other detail-oriented work is a plus.
