Restaurant General Manager Luxury Hotel
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
Location : Chicago, IL
My client is a luxury hotel with pristine locations around the globe. For their Chicago location, they are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join their team and over see all FOH and BOH operations while maintaining an upscale dining experience for the guests.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the restaurant’s daily operations to ensure guests are provided with an exceptional experience
- Assist with the recruitment of team members. Provide leadership and guidance to staff, building and fostering a positive and motivating work environment
- Promptly and efficiently resolving all customer inquiries to satisfaction
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial and operational strategies to help achieve and exceed financial goals
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for customers
Key Requirements :
- 2+ years General Manager restaurant experience, preferably in a luxury hotel
- Confident and calm leader with superb communication and organisational skills
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profit optimization
- Genuine passion for the restaurant industry and a dedication to delivering memorable dining experiences to customers
