POSITION SUMMARY :
The Operation Supervisor ensure that the goals of the company are realized and responsible for the efficient and effective production of the company service.
The end results are to continuous training and hiring of Crew Members, improve efficiency of crews through concentration in job sequencing and scheduling management, ensure the safety of crews.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Communicate with Operation Mgr. and AM, regarding status of ongoing jobs by constant communication with all the Foremen.
- Communicates with Operation Manager on estimation of job requirements and readiness, while scouting out special circumstances on the job
- Oversees Production of Crews ensuring that crews are equipped properly for each day’s work.
- Efficient and effective coordination of manpower
- Assist in coordinating small installs with mow / prune crews as needed to maintain peak efficiencies
- Knowledge of all materials (fertilizer, plant materials, chemicals, etc.) equipment, programs, etc. on all areas of responsibility so as to answer any and all questions.
- Manage Foremen on quality and progress of jobs
- Transports machinery / materials to and from jobs as needed
- Asset management, entering equipment in invisatag, Tracking PM services through Aspire, updating equipment hours in Aspire making sure Foreman are checking fluid levels on all trucks and equipment.
- Responds timely to Account Manager requests, makes communication back to Account Manager’s concerns.
- Know status of all jobs current and future
- Understands the concept of quality as it relates to your employees, programs, work output, clients, co-workers, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual (English / Spanish is Preferred)
Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Ability to organize, schedule, and complete daily work routines.
- Ability to establish relationships with clientele
- Ability to praise and reprimand crew members
- Promptness (on time for work every day)
