Academic Tutoring / Enrichment Support / LINKS Intern
Description : Work with academic and enrichment teacher to support their Fall teaching /
activities and provide additional tutoring to student in need.
Responsibilities :
- Academic tutoring.
- Assist with academic organizing and planning.
- Assist with making copies.
- Assist with activity coordination.
- Assist with student work reviews.
Internship location : John J. Duggan Academy
Expected hours : varies depending on the student’s schedule and internship assignments not
to exceed 10 hours per week.
Dates : from 11 / 1 / 2023 to 01 / 22 / 2024 for S1; from 1 / 23 / 2024 to 6 / 15 / 2024 for S2
Rate of pay : $15 dollars per hour.
Total number of students expected to hire : 9
Custodial Support
Description : assist with general upkeep and cleaning of the school building.
Requirements :
- Mobility around the school facility
- Ability to go up and down stairs
- Recycling as directed
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Janitorial work
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
- Internship location : John J. Duggan Academy
- Expected hours : from 2 : 30pm to 3 : 30am, (Monday-Thursday).
- Dates : from 11 / 1 / 2023 to 01 / 22 / 2024 for S1; from 1 / 23 / 2024 to 6 / 15 / 2024 for S2
- Rate of pay : $15 dollars per hour.
- Total number of students expected to hire : 1
