Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, fix, and upgrade web applications or websites written in the Drupal framework.
  • Write front and back-end code.
  • Ensure Drupal websites operate at a level of high performance.
  • Identify and fix bugs that are found within code.
  • Ensure you've written unit tests to verify the web application is operating as expected.
  • Write and maintain documentation for the system.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience developing with Drupal, including site building, demonstrated custom module development, and theming.
  • Advanced site building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, Panels and custom modules.
  • Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer.
  • Solid understanding of AJAX, HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
  • Practical understanding of Git and Gitflow processes.
  • BS. in computer science, Information Technology, data science, bioinformatics, or another related field. Additional education / certifications can be considered in lieu of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Interpersonal skills, such as communication and collaboration.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently.
  • Ability to obtain / hold a public trust clearance at a federal agency.
  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms (AWS).
  • Acquia Certified Drupal 10 Certification.
