Position Overview : We seek an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in ship repair and a strong network of industry contacts.
The ideal candidate will lead projects from conception through execution, leveraging their expertise and connections to enhance our operations and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage ship repair projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Utilize industry contacts to facilitate procurement, resources, and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maritime standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to management and clients.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum X years of project management experience in ship repair or a related field.
- Established network of contacts within the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipyard operations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
