Summary :
Directs and coordinates the operation of a high-volume MRI section; oversees the work of the Senior MRI Technologist and MRI Technologists engaged in operating MRI scanners to produce cross-sectional images used in patients' diagnostic procedures;
performs scans; coordinates work with other sections of Radiology; ensures that equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
Salary range for this position is $75,932 - $91,381 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also includes a geographic differential of $7.
88 hourly for a total compensation range of $92,367 - $107,816 annually.

Required Education and Experience
License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York.
2. Registration Certification for Contrast Injection in the State of New York.
3. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience as a MRI Technologist including one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience as a MRI Technologist including one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
3. Equivalent experience gained by the completion of technical training as a MRI Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an approved school or training institution may be substituted for the above experience requirement.
However, all candidates must possess at least one (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist including one (1) year in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.
