IT Systems Implementation Project Manager

iWorld Professionals is seeking an ERP Implementation Project Manager for our client headquartered in Rochester NY. This position can be done 100% remote with the ability to do travel up to 10%.

ERP Implementation Project Manager Position Summary : TheERP Implementation Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for the coordination and communication of the end-to-end implementation of a new ERP system specifically focused on the Financial and Human Resource and Supply Chain modules.

Possessing a strong background in project management, extensive experience with ERP systems, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

ERP Implementation Project Manager Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Management :
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Team Leadership :
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and external vendors.
• Assign and manage tasks, ensuring team members are clear on their responsibilities and deadlines.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• ERP System Implementation :
• Oversee the entire ERP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Ensure the ERP system meets business requirements and integrates seamlessly with existing processes and systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
• Stakeholder Management :
• Communicate project status, progress, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are met throughout the project.
• Facilitate decision-making processes and provide recommendations based on project insights.
• Change Management :
• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of the new ERP system.
• Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to support end-users.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation.

ERP Implementation Project Manager Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on ERP implementations.
• Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of business processes in finance, operations, supply chain, and HR.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment
