THIS JOB IS ONSITE AND LOCATED IN MERIDIAN, IDAHO.
What you will do
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Operation Financial Analyst is a trusted finance partner to the organization.
The primary objective of this position is to optimize Thomas Cuisine’s and the client’s financials by proactively monitoring financial trends and key performance metrics while engaging in value-added analysis to facilitate decision-making.

- Lead as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for the business; establishing oneself as a point of contact for client financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and new business pricing methodologies.
- Assume the lead position in pro-forma development and accuracy through supporting new business development, postmortem analysis, and client financial requests as needed.
- Lead the rollout, review, and uploading of client financial budgets in partnership with operations leaders.
- Deliver monthly client penalty / incentive tracking reporting with actionable corrective steps.
- Develop benchmarks, dashboards, and key metrics across our operational units to drive strategic planning and optimize profitability.
- Develop and implement financial training for the field to include but not limited to NetSuite, P&L, and retail pricing.
- Deliver comprehensive analysis and actionable recommendations for client financials and KPIs for monthly and quarterly reviews.
- Investigate results that do not align with expectations and share insights on appropriate corrective action that will strengthen business performance.
- Create presentations for internal and external needs which effectively communicates key messages and insights.
- Develop financial models for proforma and ad-hoc projects that will support client decisions.
- Continuously improve financial performance reporting by transforming data into actionable and value-added metrics and analysis that is packaged into an easily consumable format.
- Assist with developing the financial reporting systems roadmap.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred.
- Previous experience of 2 + years working cross-functionally on proformas, strategic pricing, and other external client / vendor financial initiatives.
- 5+ years of relevant, applied experience in finance / accounting.
- Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Word / PowerPoint skills and financial modeling.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite or other financial ERP systems and SQL.
