We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CAM Programmer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, where the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs for a variety of complex projects.
The CAM Programmer will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure the highest quality of output and efficiency in our processes.
This role requires a high degree of precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of CAD software, blueprint reading, and quality control principles.
Responsibilities :
1. Develop and implement CAM programs for various CNC machines based on engineering designs and models.
2. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand and interpret design specifications.
3. Optimize machining processes by adjusting speed, feed, and other parameters.
4. Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and quality of CAM programs.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAM programming and CNC machining.
6. Utilize CAD software to create and modify part models and assemblies.
7. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
8. Maintain detailed documentation of all CAM programming activities.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to the production team.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in CAM programming.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAM programming.
3. Proficiency in CAM / CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
5. Excellent blueprint reading skills.
6. Experience with precision measurement tools.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
