Description

The Senior Operations Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager, and you will be responsible for :

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for process improvement, equipment upgrades, and workflow enhancements.
• Oversee the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, including value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Lead the implementation of new technologies and automation solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Manage capital projects, including equipment upgrades, plant expansions, and technology integrations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and operations staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Profile

• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
• Proven track record of implementing operational improvements that lead to increased efficiency and cost savings
• Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of plastic materials, molding processes, and design principles
• Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
