Description

In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for :

  • Applying Analytical Tools : Using statistical and data analysis tools within a structured problem-solving approach to assess and enhance existing operations or translate customer requirements into repeatable, effective manufacturing processes.
  • Executing Validation Runs : Planning, executing, and analyzing multi-phase validations or scenarios to confirm that new equipment, processes, or tooling meet functional performance criteria and metrics.
  • Managing Projects : Initiating, developing, and maintaining Charters and Implementation Plans, including defining project scope, expected outcomes, resource needs, and timelines.
  • Acting as Engineering Liaison : Serving as an engineering liaison to various groups, participating in analysis, design, and project review teams, and creating product and equipment specifications to ensure manufacturing capability.
  • Supporting Process Transfers : Facilitating the transition of project solutions, new processes, or products to ongoing operations through operator training and the development of standard operating procedures, where applicable.
  • Implementing Control Plans : Establishing and executing control plans to ensure that project improvements and gains are sustained over time.
  • Contributing to Operational Strategy : Understanding and contributing to the development and execution of the Operational Strategy to drive Regional and Global Operational Excellence.

Profile

The client is searching for someone with the following skills :

  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Plastics, or Industrial Engineering
  • Material science knowledge
  • Plastics and / or textiles manufacturing experience preferred
  • Familiar with root cause analysis, six sigma, and SPC
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
