Transportation Managers!
The Transportation Manager is responsible for managing all activities associated with the efficient operation of the drivers and delivery of product.
This includes oversight for routing, track / tracing, dispatching and ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.
Essential Functions
- Manage the performance of hourly paid employees under his / her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Plant Manager and customers to determine their needs and meet those demands.
- Handle phone calls from Drivers with delivery needs
- Handle phone calls from Customers regarding delivery issues.
- Physically loading and unloading trucks.
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts
- Be able to drive and operate 26ft box trucks & Manage a fleet.

Qualifications Required
- Able to train employees in driving and safety protocols
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- A minimum of five years of related experience in Transportation, Food preferred
- Must have DOT medical card & at least a chauffer's license
