Westaff is Looking for a Quality Inspector at a Manufacturing Company in Wallingford, CT!
Shift : 6 : 30am-3 : 00pm
Pay Rate : $17-$21 / hr based on experience
Quality Inspector Responsibilities
- Check dimensions and / or characteristics, locations and finishes to meet customer specifications.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and optical comparators.
- Complete nonconformity and discrepancy reports on defects found at required inspection stages.
- Ensure all CMM programs are the same using best practice measuring techniques.
- Blueprint Reading and interpreting drawings to understand what is needed / expected.
Quality Inspector Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years quality inspector
- Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, MS office experience
- GD&T knowledge
- Vision system familiarity
- Ability to use inspection tools such as Gauges, Micrometers, Calipers, Digital Multimeters, and Optical comparator.
