Responsibilities include :
- Youth services programming
- Administrative duties including monthly reports, acting as person in charge, and directing staff and volunteers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
This position is responsible for collection development, youth services programming, reference, and reader's advisory services.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :
- Master's degree in Library Science
- 3-5 years experience working with children in a public library
- Experience with children's programming through 6th grade
- Knowledge of services, reference materials, and library collections
- Ability to assist patrons with youth services reference and reader's advisory
- Knowledge of basic word processing, spreadsheet operations, desktop publishing or design applications, and general computer literacy
Salary : $70,000
