Are you a skilled HVAC Controls Estimator with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills? Join our team! Your duties will involve developing bids, evaluating expenses, and compiling comprehensive itemized inventories.

Compensation : $30 - $36 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Compute labor, construction materials, time, and product costs to estimate the overall cost of construction projects
- Visit construction sites to obtain necessary client requirement information
- Inquire with clients regarding the status of submitted proposals and budgets
- Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors
- Supply accurate and clear quantity takeoff information to provide a detailed list of materials and assess the total construction costs
- Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors
- Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software
- Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field is required
- Three years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed
- Exceptional time management, project management, and communication skills are essential
- Knowledge of data and risk analysis, research methodology, accounting, and estimation metrics is critical
