Huntsville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance operations within our facility, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring their efficient performance and adherence to company policies.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of facility assets.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
- Manage maintenance budgets and inventory, optimizing costs and ensuring adequate supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related issues and improve overall facility operations.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare facility.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
