In this exciting role you will be providing general administrative and project support to the Operations Innovation Packaging Engineering & Labeling team.

Our diverse world-wide team is focused on developing packaging and labeling solutions for Medtronic. As part of this role, the candidate will be responsible for activities including preparing communications and maintaining schedules;

executing normal office responsibilities such as setting up and maintaining files, arranging meetings, compiling data for reports, budget management and training compliance.

This role requires an independent contributor that can manage and / or lead daily tasks and deliver according to project schedules.

Additional responsibilities include support for the broader team with innovation programs, systems deployment, project management and financial tracking.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

  • Provide project or program support to a functional group or business process.
  • Monitor program / project / system status, budgets and timetables.
  • Apply knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program / system guidelines and procedures.
  • Gather and compile information for reports.
  • Provide technical support, which may include program / system training, program / system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.
  • Work to deliver day-to-day objectives.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
  • Provide expert administrative support including preparing communications, maintaining calendars, meeting and conference coordination, travel coordination (domestic and international), and submitting expenses.
  • Support team operating mechanisms including team meetings, celebrations, quarterly business reviews and other business processes by ensuring deadlines and deliverables are clear and ensuring adequate work time is preserved.
  • Work independently, anticipating next steps, taking initiative, exercising discretion and sound judgment to ensure the executives are well-prepared for all elements of their daily and weekly schedules.
  • Develop effective professional relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations.
  • Plan, prepare and coordinate special meetings including agendas, meeting materials, logistics, action items, travel and catering.
  • Support financial analysis and tracking for potential and active savings programs, including monthly reporting.
  • Perform a wide variety of non-routine administrative tasks and may support special projects or assignments.

Must Have : Minimum Requirements

  • Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires high school degree or GED.

Nice to Have

  • Minimum of 4 years project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with booking travel, processing expenses, coordinating meetings & agenda development, and maintaining calendars.
  • Previous healthcare industry experience.
  • Critical thinking, problem solving analysis and research abilities.
  • Proactive in self-education of policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative and managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience working with a global team in multiple time zones.
  • Conflict resolution skills can respond gracefully and professionally while upholding policy.
  • Interest in learning new technologies.
  • Technical computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues.
  • Detail oriented planner.
  • Ability to work well under multiple instructions and directions and manage competing priorities.
  • High level of energy and willingness to work independently in an ever-evolving environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.
  • Monitors program / project status, budgets and timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams and Project.
  • Training management, Cornerstone experience.
  • Purchase order creation experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $52,400.00 - $78,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.

The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location.

Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
