Designs apparel products that will be created and sold to consumers. Includes original concepts, selection of appropriate color & materials, and modifications to ensure manufacturability.
Elevates the consumer experience through superior product craft and pushes the limits of Design.
Focus :
Brings to life the seasonal category creative direction through apparel design and innovations that are trend relevant to the category consumer.
Accountabilites :
On key financial and statement models, uses exceptional design skills to create original, innovative concepts and designs that appropriately reflect designs and applications.
Works primarily autonomously on designs.
Creates cohesive collections.
Executes all products details including construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit performance, graphic application, trim, etc.
Clearly communicates changes to ensure timely completion of each project.
Effectively uses design support.
Maintains healthy cross-functional relationships and builds matrix relationships outside of immediate team.
Demonstrates curiosity and proactively enhances business acumen.

Shares process and product finishing expertise across category and design function and influences others to evolve creative skills.
Leads design product processes for assigned category or product group; ensures feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines.
