Summary :

  • Need an experienced product designer who can come and work on Client Football Apparel to augment the small team we have.
  • They will need to work on Product design Briefs to create apparel solutions, development of spec packs for the design partners and cross functional teams.
  • They must good at apparel design have lots of experience and be a good team player

Required :

  • Shares process and product finishing expertise across category and design function and influences others to evolve creative skills.
  • Leads design product processes for assigned category or product group; ensures feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines.

May have cross-divisional opportunities.

  • Demonstrates expert understanding of products, product lines, product development process, and the specific markets in which Client does business.
  • Creates the visual center for Silo or Product,
  • Storytelling around concept or Athlete that influences the overall seasonal direction.
  • Demonstrates leadership that influences process change.

  • Assumes a lead role in communicating and presenting creative strategies, product concepts, and consumer's insights to internal & external audiences.
  • Continuously advances product, process, and design skills reflective of an expert design professional.
  • Stays abreast of industry and technology development within the product design profession.
  • Consumer Research : Client, Consumer & Athlete relations (understanding & collaboration in business context)
  • Strategic Thinking / Visioning understands product relevance, positioning, timing and collections.
  • Presentation & Communication : Clear, Concise, and Thoughtful (verbal, written, visual, listening)

Motive :

Includes original concepts, selection of appropriate color & materials, and modifications to ensure manufacturability.

Designs apparel products that will be created and sold to consumers.

Elevates the consumer experience through superior product craft and pushes the limits of Design

Accountabilities :

  • On key financial and statement models, uses exceptional design skills to create original, innovative concepts and designs that appropriately reflect Client designs and applications.
  • Works primarily autonomously on designs.
  • Creates cohesive collections.
  • Executes all products details including construction detail, color, form, style, detail, fit performance, graphic application, trim, etc.
  • Clearly communicates changes to ensure timely completion of each project.
  • Effectively uses design support.
  • Maintains healthy cross-functional relationships and builds matrix relationships outside of immediate team.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and proactively enhances business acumen.
