Pay Rate : $65,000 (exempt)

Catholic Charities, Villa Maria Behavioral Health is seeking a Site Director who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and expanding the goals of the Safe Streets program at the site level.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop a strategic plan to implement Safe Streets in target community.
• Management / Accountability of all Safe Streets site staff including Violence Prevention Coordinator, Site Supervisor, and Violence Interrupters.
• Management of all components of Safe Streets :

Community Mobilization ensuring that all Safe Streets communities develop a coalition made up of key stakeholders to implement violence prevention strategies.

Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRMENTS & ABILITIES :

• Familiarity with Baltimore City communities.
• Experience in community-based mobilization.
• Ability to promote program to local media, politicians, and funders
• Ability to articulate program’s goals and philosophy.
• Comprehension of Safe Streets’ five core components including, community mobilization, outreach, public education, faith-based leader involvement, and criminal justice participation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another.
• Driving (Agency and / or personal vehicle) is required for this position. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residence.

There can be no state issued restrictions on the licenses that would impede driver’s ability to operate the vehicle as required by the Agency, and there must not be more than three (3) points on their driving record.

Moving about to accomplish tasks throughout the assigned post.
