Additionally, this person will serve as the subject matter expert regarding environmental regulations that affect our U.S. operations.

Your Role on Our Team

As the Sr. Manager EHS - Environmental & Sustainability for Milwaukee Tool, you will be located at our new corporate office in downtown Milwaukee, WI.

You will oversee Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions data collection and work with our plants to identify waste reduction opportunities in their plants.

You will serve as the subject matter expert on environmental regulations that impact our US operations. Additionally, you will be customer facing and will engage with our customers to help them meet their sustainability objectives by using our tools.

This is a supervisory role with a Senior EHS Analyst reporting to you.

This position reports to the VP of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability and will be given the opportunity to help Milwaukee Tool and our customers reduce our / their impact on the environment.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities :

  • Ensure sites are submitting air emissions and waste data and track our performance using online data collection software
  • Determine appropriate methods of renewable energy credits, carbon offsets, and green power purchase agreements that will help Milwaukee Tool meet their Scope 1 & 2 emissions goals.
  • Prepare quarterly executive summary Green House Gas emissions reduction initiatives and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to reuse, repurpose, and recycle waste streams
  • Lead / facilitate energy reduction projects including green energy source implementation
  • Support the Corporate Sustainability team and collaborate with project teams to implement initiatives to meet Green House Gas emission targets
  • Serve as subject matter expert on environmental regulations. Work with outside environmental consultants as needed.
  • Conduct environmental compliance audits in our US operations.
  • Present our sustainability story to our customers. Work them to identify opportunities to reduce their GHG emissions on the job site.
  • Be an active participant in the Milwaukee Tool sustainability committee and Corporate Sustainability committee.
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Participate in occasional evening or early morning calls to support non-US partners.
  • Other Duties as assigned

The TOOLS you'll bring with you :

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or technical equivalent
  • 3 years minimum of related experience
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, and Power Point.
  • Experience with energy surveys and reduction initiatives
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations relating to manufacturing operations.
  • Strong written and verbal skills
